LOCAL RESTAURATEUR TO SATISFY APPETITES
OF MIAMI TOWNSHIP SPORTS FANS
Local restaurateur Billy Joe Deck understands that cheering on your favorite sports team can work up an appetite. With the construction of his newest Cadillac Jacks restaurant set to begin at The Exchange at Spring Valley, Deck hopes to be satisfying the appetites of Miami Township sports fans by late fall.
Deck, who owns and operates Cadillac Jacks restaurants in Beavercreek and Fairborn, wanted to expand the restaurant brand to the southern Miami Valley. He began working with Chris Conley of Oberer Realty Services, Ltd. in 2006 to secure The Exchange at Spring Valley location.
“The Exchange at Spring Valley is a great choice to locate the new Cadillac Jacks,” explained Conley, partner and vice president of Oberer Realty Services, Ltd. “The location provides high visibility, is easily accessible and is surrounded by a large, diverse population base from which to draw customers.”
The sports bar themed restaurant will be located on approximately 1.5 acres at the corner of Ferndown Drive and Springboro Pike (SR 741). Oberer Thompson Company is overseeing construction of the restaurant. Kevin Hess, project manager for Oberer Thompson Company said construction on Cadillac Jacks is expected to begin in early May. “The brick and stone structure, which will boast more than 7,300 SF, will feature seating for around 290 guests,” Hess described. The restaurant will also offer a covered patio, game room and of course plenty of TVs for patrons to enjoy their favorite sporting events.
The sports bar theme also extends to the Cadillac Jacks menu which features such fan favorites as potato skins and chili cheese fries, build your own nachos, burgers, subs, and chicken wings with sauce selections running from the tame honey mustard to the hardcore turbo. In addition to the traditional sports bar fare, Cadillac Jacks offers sandwiches, salads, wraps, homemade soup and chili, steak and even a house specialty called a killer burrito (smaller appetites can always opt for the mini killer). The restaurant also offers a kids menu.
Deck also emphasizes that Cadillac Jacks is a family friendly environment. “We hope that adults who live and work nearby will enjoy stopping in for lunch or dinner, to catch a game or meet up with friends for happy hour, but we certainly welcome families at Cadillac Jacks,” Deck said. “We want parents to know children are always welcome here.”
Oberer Realty Services, Ltd. currently leases over 2 million square feet of retail and office space in the Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus markets.
